Requirements for cybersecurity in ICT products

Position paper and survey

The BDI, DIN and DKE have published a position paper on the topic of "EU cybersecurity regulation". In it, these three organizations explicitly call for the introduction of mandatory, horizontal cybersecurity requirements based on the principles of the New Legislative Framework (NLF).

This is also in line with the call of the European Commission, Directorate General for Communications Networks, Content & Technology (DG CNECT), for a survey on "Targeted consultation supporting the external Study on the need of Cybersecurity Requirements for ICT Products". Interested parties can participate in the survey until May 21, 2021.

We will certainly also address this topic at our GLOBALNORM Conference Product Compliance #9 this year on September 9, 2021 (Save the Date!).
